Refund policy
Last updated August 2026
Everything Hurt Square sells is a digital document. Nothing ships. You receive a download link immediately after purchase, and the file is yours to keep, print and fill in.
Because there is nothing to send back, the ordinary rules about returning an item do not apply here. What follows is what we do instead.
Our guarantee
If the guide is not what you needed, write to us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it. You do not have to explain yourself and we will not ask you to.
People find us at a bad moment in their lives, often on a phone, often in pain. Buying the wrong thing under those conditions is not a mistake anyone should pay for.
Bought the wrong province
This happens more than anything else, and it does not need a refund. Write to us and we will send you the correct provincial edition at no charge. Keep the first one or delete it, whichever you prefer.
Download or technical problems
If your link does not work, the file will not open or the download expired before you reached it, contact us and we will send it again. We will not treat a technical failure on our side as a completed purchase you have to live with.
Duplicate purchases
If you were charged twice for the same guide, tell us and we will refund the duplicate. You do not need to be within any time limit for this one.
How to ask
Email Recovery@hurtsquare.ca with your order number, or with the email address you used at checkout if you cannot find the order number. That is the whole process.
We approve refunds within two business days. Once approved, the money returns to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further five to ten business days to post it, which is outside our control.
Firm, clinic and bulk licences
Multi copy licences purchased by law firms, clinics, employers or organizations are governed by the agreement made at the time of purchase rather than by this policy. Contact us and we will set out the terms before you buy.
Your rights under provincial law
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer protection legislation of your province or territory. Where that legislation gives you a stronger right than the one described here, that stronger right applies.
